Position: Labour Consultant/Attorney

Experience: Minimum 3 years extensive Labour law related work

Labourman is a leading Labour consulting firm dedicated to providing exceptional labour solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Labour Consultant/ attorney to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough assessments of labour practices, policies, and compliance procedures;
2. Provide expert advice on labour laws, regulations, and best practices;
3. Develop and implement strategies to enhance labour relations and foster a positive working environment;
4. Assist in resolving workplace disputes and conflicts through mediation and negotiation including mediation and negotiation with various unions;
5. Keep abreast of industry trends, legislative changes, and emerging issues affecting labour practices;
6. Running Conciliation and Arbitrations at the CCMA and various Bargaining Councils and other institutes;
7. Represent and attend to Labour Court Matters

Requirements: 

1. Law degree and or Higher diploma in the labour law field;
2. Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Labour Consultant;
3. Minimum of 3 years of proven experience dealing with matters at the CCMA and Bargaining Councils;
4. In-depth knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and industry standards;
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
7. Proven track record of successful labour consulting engagements.
